Waxing-A relatively quick procedure which removes the hair follicle from its root and the results can last up to six weeks or more. Waxing requires a technician pull the hair follicle by using a heated, resin-based wax. Some even find that after a few treatments of wax, the follicle has ceases to produce hair.
Waxing comes in soft and hard verities. A thin cloth or paper is used to remove soft wax, which sticks to the hair and the surrounding skin. Soft wax is mainly used for removing hair on the face, arm, leg, chest or back. Hard wax, on the other hand, is used to remove hair from more sensitive areas such as the bikini and is used without the strip. Hard wax only adheres to the hair not the skin which minimizes pain and decreases the appearance of bumps or redness.
